management
In conjunction with Cosmic Institute,
all CAPs also play a vital role in arranging local
events in their vicinity thus providing you with
priceless networking opportunities with your peers
and leading industry professionals. The information
for these events is provided online to all students
well in advance so that you can plan your participation
well in time.
Student counselling
services
The office is staffed by a qualified counsellor
and the services rendered to students are free,
voluntary, confidential and open to all. We understand
that proper guidance results in saving valuable
time and resources. Academic counselling helps student
to choose a particular course of study for which
they have a high aptitude and also allows them to
understand their career path with its implications.
The office staff is dedicated to assisting students
in their pursuit of personal and academic growth,
to helping students gain a better understanding
and appreciation of themselves, and to supporting
students as they make important decisions about
their lives.
Confidentiality
Counselling is confidential. The information that
you share with a counsellor will not be disclosed
to any outside person, for example, parents, faculty,
future employers or agencies without your written
permission. We will not even disclose whether or
not you have used our services. The only exceptions
to this strict policy of confidentiality are those
required by law, for example, where the client is
likely to harm himself/herself unless protective
measures are taken; where the client presents a
serious danger of violence to another; where there
is a reasonable suspicion of abuse of children or
of an elderly person. |
